O-Line Motto's or T-shirt designs or Other great ideas...
Gentleman it's that time of year again, Summer workouts are in full swing, and we are all preparing for the up coming season in all manner of ways. Motivation & Pride being two key elements in which help the O-Line grow and become a unit of one instead of five individuals. That being said what are some of your O-Line mottos's, T-shirt designs, or other ways to instill a great work ethic, and excitement in your O-Line?

I have used so many different things over the years, but one that helped a group of O-Linemen that I coached in AL was adopting a simple but effective blue collar attitude. I got one of the parents that sold construction equipment to get me a gold hard hat (Team colors were green and old gold), I added the team logo and name to the hard hat and brought the line together and talked about what it would take for us to make our goals as a team and O-Line. At the end of our discussion I set down some rules for the hard hat. 1. The hard hat goes with us everywhere the O-Line goes- to practice, to games, to meetings, and to O-Line dinners we had each week. 2. Each week the hard hat would be given to the O-Lineman that best represented our blue collar attitude, and they were responsible for the hard hat, as well as making sure it made it to where we were as a team. It was fun the kids really got behind the concept it brought them together and they believed in it.
