Center's ball grip
I've been doing some time at centre (Every linemen will need to play at any spot for our team) and I was having trouble holding onto the ball for undercenter snaps. I did the finger lick thing and that helped a bit. Any suggestions would be great.

i played center for 11 years so hopefully this helps. my grip for underneath is thumb on the laces torwards the top of the ball. your aiming point so you dont hit too low on the quarterbacks hand is your butt hole

I've got my hand position right, just having trouble keeping a good grip on it. The balls we use at training have almost no friction. I haven't held one of the league balls yet but I want to cover my bases now

If you cannot hold onto the ball really the only thing that you can do is put your other hand onto it for extra support.
