Our Offensive is getting our body fat tested this week.  Does anyone know what a 6-3 300 pound offensive lineman's body fat range should be????????????????

does it matter? if you're able to move well who cares.
because too much body fat can obviously hurt ur performance
From what I know, linemen usually have 15-19% body fat (average).
I'm talking about actual game shape linemen and not the big kids that never make it to college because they are all gut.
According to Burn fat feed muscle the average NFL linemen is 16-19%. This is what I'm aiming for anyways
im pretty sure im above 19% but im not all gut and my 40 time is 5.3...
All gut isnt all good. You should work on that.

do not have that big of a gut... can barely notice it through my jersey.
I don't think you should worry so much about numbers if you're effective on the field. Obviously you need goals to accomplish but I would personally make those goals performance based and if you're training hard the numbers will all fall into place in time.
i'm a college lineman and i'm about 23%. i'd like to drop it as the guys that start are probably in that 15-19% range

Hinestly dude i personaly know the strenght and conditioning coach for BC and you will only find kids like you described up in the north east. Other than that your gunna find guys who are 22%+, also in college alto of kids do bulk up or slim down and gain muscle. For Defensive line thats a different story since they are freaks
